Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how FightTech ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the HackNao English mobile application (the "App", package ID com.fighttech.hacknao1500tutienganh). By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Privacy at a glance

• We do not require an account to use the App.
• Your microphone recordings and their analysis stay on your device — they are not uploaded to us.
• We do not sell or rent your personal information.
• We do not use advertising networks or third-party analytics/tracking SDKs in the App.
• Most features, including vocabulary, dictation, and the AI coach, work fully offline.

3. Information we process

The App is designed to function without collecting personal data on our servers. The categories below are processed locally on your device unless stated otherwise.

We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, precise location, or advertising identifiers through the App.

4. On-device processing

Speech recognition (speech-to-text) and grammar/pronunciation analysis are performed locally on your device using an on-device engine. Your audio recordings are not transmitted to us or to any third party for this analysis. Recordings remain in the App's local storage and can be deleted by you at any time (see Your rights).

5. Third-party services

Some learning content is delivered as streaming media. When you play certain lessons, the App may load video or audio from YouTube / Google. When this happens, your device connects directly to those services, and their handling of your data is governed by their own policies:

Text-to-speech playback of vocabulary uses your device's built-in speech engine provided by your operating system (Apple or Google), subject to that platform's policies. The App itself does not contain advertising or analytics SDKs.

6. Device permissions

• Microphone — required to record your speech for shadowing, dictation, and the AI coach. Used only while you are recording.
• Storage / files — to save recordings and progress, export your CEFR results as a PDF, and import lesson packs you choose.
• Network — to stream lesson media (e.g., YouTube) and to import content you request. The App does not need network access for offline features.

You can grant or revoke permissions at any time in your device settings. Denying the microphone permission disables recording-based features but does not prevent other use of the App.

7. Data storage & retention

Because data is stored locally, it is retained on your device until you delete it within the App or until you uninstall the App. Uninstalling the App removes the data the App created in its local storage. We do not keep server-side copies of your recordings, transcripts, or progress.

8. Children's privacy

The App is intended for general audiences learning English. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children, and it contains no advertising or behavioral tracking. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a feature that involves a third-party service, please contact us so we can assist.

9. Your rights and choices

• Access & deletion — your data lives on your device. You can delete recordings and reset progress in the App, and remove all App data by uninstalling the App. See our Account & Data Deletion page.
• Permissions — you control microphone, storage, and network access via your device settings.
• Depending on where you live (e.g., the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights. Since we do not hold your personal data on our servers, most requests can be fulfilled directly on your device; contact us if you need help.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide notice in the App or store listing. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
